The future of the dairy industry depends on cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals. The Lely North America Future of Dairy Scholarship Program supports students by investing in their education, helping them build the knowledge and expertise needed to advance the dairy industry.
SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION
Lely North America is proud to offer the Future of Dairy Scholarship Program to college and high school students.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: Four, one-time/non-renewable, $500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving, qualified students who are legal residents of the United States or Canada. Students must be planning to pursue an agriculture related degree at a two- or four-year college during the 2026-2027 academic year.
COLLEGE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: Two, one-time/non-renewable, $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving, qualified students who are legal residents of the United States or Canada. Students must be enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education for the 2025-2026 academic year and participating in a program that can equip them to contribute to the dairy industry.

Dairy Technology - This scholarship is open to students pursuing degrees in robotics, automation, and/or precision ag that have a passion and desire to work in the dairy industry. The student must have at least freshman college status at the time of application.

Dairy Industry - This scholarship is open to students pursuing an agriculture degree with a desire to work in the dairy industry. The student must have at least freshman college-status at time of application.
REQUIREMENTS
- Resume: 1 to 2 page resume depicting previous leadership, organizational involvement and/or work experiences.
- Letter of Recommendation: Written by an advisor, employer, 4H leader, etc.

The documents listed above must be submitted via this Lely web page in order to be eligible. Offer applicable in the 48 contiguous United States, and the 10 Canadian provinces. Excludes Puerto Rico, Guam.
IMPORTANT DATES
The submission link will be open March 2, 2026, and will close April 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT. Winners will be selected the week of April 27, 2026. Winners will be publicly announced the week of May 4, 2026.
